Invited Speakers' Presentation Guidelines

Presentation Date and Time

Presentation Preparation
On 2 October, you will receive instructions on how to upload your slide presentation online prior to the Congress. Please adhere to the following guidelines:
You must upload or review your presentation at the Speaker Ready Room at least 4 hours before the start of your presentation or the day before for an early morning presentation. Please take note of the following:
- Upload Deadline: Presentations must be reviewed in the Speaker Ready Room at least 4 hours before your session or the day before for early morning presentations.
- Format: Presentations must be in 16:9 format (not 4:3) to avoid distortion.

Upload Schedule (Speaker Ready Room at MR 6 -7):
- Saturday, November 1: 15:00-19:00
- Sunday, November 2: 07:30-19:00
- Monday, November 3: 07:00-18:00
- Tuesday, November 4: 07:00-16:00
- Personal laptops cannot be used for presentations.
- Comparison slides are not permitted.
- You are required to complete your permission form and COI form prior to your presentation. Click here to download the COI Form
- It is recommended that you disclose any financial conflict of interest on your second slide and verbally to the audience (regardless if you have something to disclose or not). If you have nothing to disclose, simply state “I have no conflicts of interest to disclose.”
- Presentations will not be accepted directly in the session rooms for uploading.
Presentation Format
- Presentations should be uploaded in any version of Microsoft PowerPoint. Please remember presentations must be formatted in 16:9 format. You can download an APCCMI 2025 slide template here. The APCCMI 2025 slide template is optional, however, you are required to have a disclosure slide at the beginning of your slide deck.
- PowerPoint for MAC files should be tested on a PC before the event.
- Canva, Keynote for MAC, Prezi formats are not accepted. Presentations must be exported to PowerPoint.
- Videos: Videos must be embedded in the presentation (PowerPoint 2016 or newer). If you need assistance with non-embedded videos, please visit the Speaker Ready Room (MR 6-7).
- Please proceed to your session room 5-10 minutes before your session start time to introduce yourself to the session moderators and familiarize yourself with the setup.
Presentation Format
All content must be free of commercial bias and influence. Please follow these standards:- Educational materials (slides, abstracts, handouts) must not contain advertising, trade names, product-group messages, or company logos.
- Use only generic names when discussing therapeutic options. If it is necessary to use a trade name, then those of several companies must be used.
- Disclose any unlabeled or investigational use of commercial products during your presentation.
Disclosure Requirements
All speakers will be required to provide a listing of their disclosures, per accreditation requirements, following their title slide. Your disclosure slide will be shown for 10 seconds prior to the beginning of your talk.
All speakers are also required to complete a permissions form (per presentation) and COI form (one per speaker) prior to their presentation.
Audio Visual Equipment
Each session room will be equipped with:- Data projector
- Projection screen
- Lectern, table, and microphone
Before You Depart
Backup: Please bring a copy of your presentation and all videos on a USB flash drive. Ensure that all files are in the same folder. It’s advisable to keep a second copy in your luggage.
